Good News Minute

So on Friday we went to Midvale for a job interview. And stopped by Steven & Barry's, it has Sarah Jessica Parker, Amanda Bynes, Venus Williams, and Stephon Marbury's collection! It's a store. You should check out the store online! OK so we went and everything in the store was $8.89 or $8.98!!! How do you complain! I wanted to buy everything but just bought a pair of pumps! EVERYTHING was that price, shoes, jackets, pants, everything! I was amazed! I just thought I would share the news.

Another good news minute is that when we were down south on Friday we needed to stop by Joel's sisters house to pick up something. But we ended up staying awhile and Joel was talking with his sister about something and some how babies got in the conversation. Joel said that he needed to have a girl!!! NEEDED!! So we are not done, we can try for a girl in a few 3 or 4 years! He said that when he is around baby girls or any girl he is more compassionate, loves and is more caring. I needed that, I think every women should have one girl at least! and Joel seems to agree! Yeah, I'm so excited!

Cookie Watcher

Brakken loves to help any chance he gets. Specialy when i make cookie dough (we can't wait that long to cook them so we just eat it raw). He watches as i add all the ingredients and then he gets to help stir! He's getting to be such a big boy.

Cannings Fun

Hey girls, tonight I went canning for the first time it's fun and a good time to get away from the kids. It was nice to be around other ladies and not have kids with me at the same time. So please plan on coming next time. I loved it. It's easy and fun! Hope to see you next time.

Cannery Tonight

Ok ladies, it's canning night tonight! We are going to be at 165 east 2200 north (behind qwest). It'll be at 6:00p.m. and the date is 27th of march 2008.I hope everyone that can come, will come. We are canning dried onions and oats. This is my first time canning. I always watched my mom, gma, and aunt Michelle for a short while, then I would get bored and do something else. But now I'm doing the canning and not watching! And I'm coming! So come. It'll be fun, I'm kinda excited. Hope to see you there.

TV Shows

Yeah! The Hills started on Monday! I'm a huge fan. I've watched since Laguna Beach, when it first started! And since then I've been hooked! Reality Shows are my very favorite. These are some of my other favorites: American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, So you think you can dance, House, Moment of Truth, Survivor, Apprentice, and a lot of shows on Discovery. Wow a lot I know... when people tell me about Office or another show I just can't start to like another show or start another one. I have to many that I love! And get this... we don't have cable or anything! We watch all these shows on the Internet! But I would like to vote! So Joel is thinking about getting TV back. So I guess for now I'll watch them a day late. Or a week late to watch House! But it saves money, so I'm not complaining (I hope it doesn't sound like I am, cuz I'm not!) Oh yeah I loved to watch Tyra! But shes not on the Internet. I think she'll be the next Oprah but with a ghetto side and prettier. And some might not agree but I think she's great. Oh... I almost forgot to tell you I love love to watch Hannah Montana but she's not online either. Sad I know. So, what shows do you love? Tell me... I want to know. I think you learn more about people, by the shows they watch.

Left Over Night

Maybe a week or so ago, we had left over night. This is what it looked liked.
Take a look at Maddie's face. He loves FOOD! But as you can see Brakken hates left over night! Well he just hates to eat dinner. He thinks that there are better things to do than eat. Madden and Brakken couldn't be more different. But my favorite thing about these pictures are Joel. A real man can wear pink..

Rolly Polly

It kinda hard to see but it's a Rolly Polly (or potato bug) in my hand. We found him or her crawling in our house and we wanted to hold her... or him! But this was the end of the Rolly Polly's days. Madden got hungry and took a bit of this bug and spit it out right away. Madden kept picking it up to see why it wasn't moving. And then i had to throw it away. So what a way to start a day! Eating bugs weren't on my agenda for the day!

Trash Your Dress

So we were hanging out with the Ernstrom's tonight, talking with Tina. And as some of you don't know she is a photographer, and she asked if I was willing to trash my wedding dress. I was concerned but she told me about it and I fell in love. So now I have to convince Joel into it. He says no, cuz we payed a lot of my dress and he doesn't want me to trash it. But I don't plan on wearing it again, or not until our 50th anniversary. But that's forever away. The plan is to go down to Bear Lake and I'll play in the sand, and the water in my dress, while Tina takes pictures. Sounds like fun to me! And all I need to do is get Joel's permission. But he doesn't want to do that! So I'm planning on asking and asking until he gives in! I want to trash my dress tomorrow! But I can wait until he give me the OK!

Paper Bowl

You think that we would have a dog in our house, but NO. We have boys! This is what they eat their cereal in (a paper bowl).Brakken gets one and Maddie gets one too. After Madden eats his cereal this is what he does. So I have to grab their bowls right after they get done. Don't you love how your kids keep you on your toes? I do, cuz less planning on exercising. Just chase them around the house or in the store or where ever we go. I love being a MOM!

Potty Talk

So today I asked Brakken if he wanted to go potty on the potty. This is how the conversation went.
Me: Brakken do you want to potty like mommy?
Brakken: No, Mommy's potty (and pointed to the toilet) and Brakken's potty (pointed to his diaper)

So maybe he's lost his interest in going on the toilet? I'm so over this some days he'll go on the potty and others he wants nothing to do with it. What a roller coaster ride. And I'm not in the mood to ride. But I know, I signed up for it.

It's a GIRL

This is my BFF from grade school! She is having a baby girl! Look at her cute little baby bump. What a milf. (don't make me explain, cuz i won't) Yeah do you like the tank top, she lives in St. George where it is nice and warm. And the other cute babe is her niece. What a q.t. she is. I miss you Tawni. Can't wait to visit soon.

Got Lotion?

This is what the boys do if i forget to put the lotion away after a bath. I put lotion all over them even in there hair. So Brakken being the 2 year old that he is, he copies everything that I do. So tonight I left the lotion out and Brakken decided to lotion his brother. Not a little, but alot. Huge globs of lotion all in Maddie's hair. Good thing I cut there hair today.

You Know What Big Shoes Mean

You know what big feet mean..... BIG SHOES! hahahaha lol. Maddie loves to wear shoes. He tries to wear his but they are to small for him to put on by himself. But mine and Joel's are perfect. Well he seems to think so.

Favorite Hat

Brakken has been wearing this hat for a day or two. It was his swim hat that we got him last year. He didn't wear it but once or twice! But he found it and wants to wear it. I don't want him to wear it outside. It's not the cutest hat. And it's not swimming time yet, so we plan to keep the hat wearing inside. But I plan on hiding the hat soon.

Wrist Appointment

Well as some of you already know is that I went to the doctor today... And the news is that I'm getting surgery on the 17th of April! I'm not sure the time of surgery but they will let me know when I go to the pre-op appointment on the 7th of April. I'm really nervous but Dr. Kings told me that it's an "in and out" surgery! So I'll be awake when they perform the surgery! That's scary.. But whatever, I need to be at my best for my family! So the good news is that Joel plans to buy everything paper and plastic so I can skip doing dishes for 10 to 14 days! Long I know, but that's how long I'll need to keep my stitches clean and dry. They said I'll be better in no time. So that's what I'm looking forward in being. And they said that I probably will need physical therapy cuz of my wrist not moving for that long! So a lot for a Ganglion Cyst. The doc said that I'll have a little scare on my wrist and on my middle finger. So to solve the wrist problem (covering my scare) I think it's about time for a tennis bracelet or a nice watch (I prefer the tennis bracelet more). So instead of ice cream lets change it to something nice. lol haha I guess some good will come out of this operation. Who knows.

People don't know about me ...

I was a military brat, so we moved every 1-2 years. Married into a family that is learning to like me. I won over half but the other half I'm fine if they never like me. (if you wondering it's Joel's dad's side and my dad's wife). I come from a broken family. And Joel comes from a broken family too. They are broken but pretty fun at the same time. I think our family would be pretty entertaining if we had our own Reality Show! I bet we would make millions. And for those that don't know I didn't get my drivers license until I was 18 and I had to bcuz I was pregnant. I was planning on never getting one. Crazy I know, but I thought a princess doesn't need to drive herself around. lol

Day out on the Town

Today was my day! I left the house a little before 4pm. I came back a little before 6pm. so 2 hours to myself doing whatever I wanted. So the first thing that I did was went to Cold Stone to get a ice cream. I ordered coffee ice cream with mini chocolate chips mixed in it. So yummy! Sinfully yummy. hahaha That's become my new favorite. I took my ice cream and I was off to the mall to try on clothes. Everyone knows that when you take kids with you to the mall, you can't try on clothes with out it being the hardest task in the world. But I went in a store and tried on whatever I wanted and I didn't even hear, "mommy I want that", or the boys fighting about something or another. It was very nice to be by myself. I eat my ice cream and tried on clothes. What a great time that was. I had a blast. I fell in love with some shorts at the Buckle, but can't get any until next month. I was on the hunt for Easter clothes. And kinda found stuff, but not exactly what a wanted. Well I have 3 more times to find what I need before Easter. Well I had a great time, I can't wait to go again. But until I have another Me Day, I'm back to being Mommy. Not bad at all...... I love it!

After Enrichment

Well for the ladies that could attend or forgot about Enrichment. We learned about the RS women in Cache Valley. About all the record keeping they made, and for all the things people gave to the Temple, Church, and to everything else. The sisters kept that all organized. What amazing women. And after our lesson we made cards. It was fun. I taught some ladies how to make kiddie birthday cards (I hope everyone liked them), and Jaime taught to other ladies how to make thank you cards and wedding cards. Tonz of fun. Next time, hopefully will be just as fun or maybe funner.... (I know funner is not a word but I like it. For those that get mad about that. It'll be more fun next time, I hope.) That was our Enrichment Night out with the Girls in our Ward. If you have any ideas about what we should do for Enrichment, tell me in a post. Thanks

The Answers To The Questions

Alright. everyone has been asking me about enrichment. So instead of calling all of you i thought I'll answer all the questions right now. Well it's wear whatever you want.... i mean whatever you want. hahaha (Sandra maybe that moo moo). And for the food, it's gonna be refreshments and not a dinner. sorry ladies grab something before you come or after. And bad news there is NOT going to be a nursery. But we plan on having fun making cards of all sorts. This gives me a good idea. I should just blog about enrichment activities.

More scary Appointment Crap

Ok so I called and I'm having a evaluation appointment on the 19th of March! at 11:00a.m. I'm super SCARED but I have to cuz I want to be at my best for my family. I have 7 days left. For my wrist thing.

Scary Appointment

OK so today is the day that I'm going to make the appointment about my wrist and finger. I'm very nervous and I don't want to but I have to. I RECEIVED the confirmation and I didn't like the answer. But I'm doing what the Lord wants me to do. I'm getting surgery. I'll let you know when it takes place, the recovery and all that jazz. WISH ME GOOD LUCK!

Hard Day Today

Well today didn't start out like all the other Sabbaths. It was pretty rough. Everyone knows that we are planning to go to Hawaii but my dads wife (i can't call her step mom) doesn't seem to what us too. Well that doesn't surprise me the least, she's hated me way back when they first got married (so like 12 years). When you see family, you let them know. So we emailed the fight info. to my dad (but as i found out it's a family email, so his wife can read it too) and later that night we received a email from Lisa (my dads wife). But we didn't read the email until this morning. The email said that she wasn't informed about us coming out and that her family will be town so we need another place to stay. As you can tell i made it a little nicer than it really was. The first thing we wanted to do was call her up and yell at her, but we didn't. I wrote an email asking why doesn't she want us to be there for her daughters wedding. And asked why she was bitter, probably not the best thing to do! Then I went in my room and said a prayer for me to love her and for her to love me. And i thought, i accepted all of this from her but not from my dad. He should have told her that we were coming out and we were planning on staying in their home. And he didn't. But it's fine cuz we are still planning on having a wonderful time in Hawaii. So please pray for there to be more love in the world.

First Time For Everyone

For starters i have the sniffles and a little cough. So everywhere I've been going, I have a roll of toilet paper handy. Well as I was waking from a nap Brakken decided that he wanted to toilet paper our house. He's starting early don't you think?

He is hiding from me cuz he thinks he's in trouble! But instead Joel gave him a high five!

More About the Wrist

My doctor told me that i could wait it out and see if the cyst will go away on it's own. That's what i hope for. But if it gets bigger or hurts more I'll have to get it taken out! Sucky.. I can't stand any kinda needles. It was hard for me to have an iv in my arm when I gave birth to the boys! Also when i get my blood drown i cry, and ask for a sucker. But any other thing I'm tuff! Not to brag.. but I am. But I have the feeling that it's gonna get worst and I'll have to get it taken out. I hope it gets better before Hawaii!

Wrist Problems

OK so we went to the doctors today for something or another, well 3 out of 4. Maddie went for support. But Joel had Eczema on his fingers, Brakken had Eczema on his face and a little on his arm. And for me I've been having some issues with my left wrist, it has some bump on it. It hurts when i bend it any kind of way, but when i keep it straight it's OK. And i also have a bump on my middle left finger too. So the doctor took some xrays and come to find out it's called a Ganglion Cyst. Gross huh. I know, I have to look at it daily. I know they are gonna charge an arm and a leg for the stupid brace thing i have to wear. There is a picture of what it looks like on the inside. But what a great day we had... NOT! For those that have kids you know what I"m talking about. Long hours waiting in a waiting room is not fun. But I can proudly say we are fine.
