Busy, Busy, Busy...

So lately I've been busy with POTTY TRAINING!! And it's been going great... but today we missed church cuz we didn't want to mess up his groove. Brakken is doing great! And Madden wants to wear the COOL undies too.. he wears them over his diaper... It's really funny.. He wants to be just like his brother.

This is Brakken on Friday the 13th in his "COOL undies". He didn't want me to take a picture of him. So you can't see his handsome face!

I think we have waited long enough for him to be ready and now he is!! AWESOME
I think i made a BIG mistake by teaching him how to potty with out wearing pants (like have short or pants on over his undies). I thought that i would rather just change undies than undies and shorts!! But now he only wears his undies... He doesn't want to wear anything on them. I would rather have a kid that is potty trained with no shorts on than wearing a diaper and shorts??? I don't know.. But who cares Brakken's almost THREE, he is still a little tike.. Right??
Along side of the crazy potty training we have been hanging out with FAMILY!!! So we have been busy with that!

Oh yeah on Wednesday we played in the sun with the hose! The boys played while i laid... Sun bathed anyway! We had Leeanne, Baby Carlos, and Clari over to soak up the sun. We all had a blast. Thanks for coming over guys.. We all got some color... weather it be brown or red... or both.. We still had a great time talking while the little boys played..
This weekend we played with Aunt Jesie (Jesika, Joel sister that's a year younger than me) , Uncle Seth, (i don't take much pictures at their house cuz they don't want their pictures on the Internet!! Crazy but i have to obey their wishes!!) and Grandma Debbie!! We have so much fun playing with them!!

How cute is that!! Madden is truly and LITTLE ANGEL!! These are pictures that i took after prayer and hugs and kisses!! The times (or should i SAY BEDS) have changed!!

You're probably think "What??" what has changed!! Well, Madden jumped in Brakkie's bed and Brakken jumped in Maddie's.. How funny is that!! Madden is ready to get a BIG boy bed! We are getting him one soon.. It's time... I think? But Joel just thinks they won't ever sleep in their own beds by themselves.. They will SHARE a bed... cuz it'll always be like a sleep over. I totally agree with him on that!! They are the best of FRIENDS!! I hope it stays like that.

Potty TRAINING!!

Ok, We started AGAIN on FRIDAY!! Before noon he was going half and half (meaning half in his big boy pants and half in the toilet..). But after noon he was doing great!! Not accidents!! Great Job Brakken! But before noon we went through like 4 or 5 underpants!! But good thing i (JOEL) bought 2 packs of 3!

This is the only picture that we took!! Kanye and Rihanna didn't want any cameras in the E Center.. So we had to walk back to our car and put it away!! This is us before the Concert!!

But as the concert was going on people everywhere were talking pictures... Go Figure... Right?

But it was AWESOME!!!! I LOVED EVERY MINUTE!! And Joel got me a Kanye West T-Shirt! Thanks...

After the concert i got SICK!! But the Performers WERE AWESOME!! I can't wait for another Concert! Thanks to Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D., Rihanna, and Kanye West for the GREAT PERFORMANCE!!!

This is on Saturday

This is what Leeanne and I saw after the walk on Saturday!! I guess that Baby Carlos got tired?? But i think he just LOVES his FRIENDS (Brakken and Madden)!!

Fun WEEKEND!!

So for starters i started walking with Leeanne at nights (like after dinner time). It's real fun.. Sometimes we walk with the kids and sometimes it's WITHOUT them.. So Friday after our walk Brakken wanted to fix Leeanne and Carlos's car! I hope it works a little better than before??

It kinda looks like he is trying to steal their hub caps!! What do you think??

Then on Saturday we went to this really nice park that was called Ryan's Park... a little boy died drowning and they made this park to remember him.. It's a real fun park!! It's at like 600 east and like 300 south??? But i don't remember but I'll ask Joel!! They have a spot for 5 and under, and 5 and older.

This swing is cool.. i was able to swing in it too!! Well Maddie wanted to swing but i had to be holding him.. So I hope it's for moms too..
They have a plane for the kids too... Brakken is hanging on for dear life... Look how strong he is.. Or how scared??

We remembered on Saturday that it was a free fishing day... But then after the park we forgot..
Oh yeah Joel bought himself and me tickets to The GLOW IN THE DARK TOUR!!! Well it was his early Fathers Day gift!! Oh yeah the 10th row in section 101!! So close to the stage and high enough so we could see the stage too.. It was a win win!! Thanks Hunny, or should he be saying thanks???

This Happend One Week Ago

This happened on last Friday! Maddie and Brakken just got done with the bath (so that means they just got lotioned and dressed). Joel always plays with the boys before they go to bed. And this time Madden was climbing to get away from Joel on the ottoman (that was still on the chair after vacuuming, and the ottoman has been around way before I've been around.... so it has some loose nails under it) and sat on it then slid off like it was a slide... And as you can see he riped his jammies!! And the funny thing is that we let him sleep in them! (you might think bad parenting but it was a hard task getting them on! So we were not going to repeat it..) Here is a funny for Friday!! Have a GRRR8 day!

Last day in Hawaii

Wednesday May 28th 2008
This day was awesome, but sad! I didn't want to leave but I did at the same time! I missed my family and friends here but i knew i would miss my family their! Bitter Sweet!
Well to day we got ready for the BEACH one last day to spend at a REAL beach. So i jumped right on it. We planned this day the night before, with my cousin Nicole, her daughter, and my Aunty Pat!! So we get to the beach at 10am ish. And the beach was called... Onokahakaha.. But it was a kid friendly beach! Shallow for them to cruise around and surrounded by lava rocks so they couldn't get to far!
Nicole guys got to the beach about 11ish and how came with her was my Aunty Pat, her daughter, and herself, as well as her sister Samantha and Samantha's 2 way cute kids!! It was nice to meet you Sam as well as your two cute BOYS!
We had to leave the beach by 2pm cuz our plane was leaving at 7pm... so we had to be at the Airport at 5:30 to check in. And I still needed to pack i did most of it the night before but still needed to pack what we used for the beach!! Oh yeah and my Cousin Garrett got us a huge thing of Sushi for lunch!! Thanks Garrett. It was Ono!

Alright the flight was awesome, the boys were tired from swimming they were so tired to complain on the plane! So that means we got to sleep too. On all 3 plane we all got some shut eye. It was nice to have peace and quite! And i bet everyone on the plane thought so too!
Debbie came to get us at the airport! THANKS Debbie for the ride! We got to hang out with Jesika, Seth, and Jordan.. It was nice to hang out with them again.

This is a little bit of Friday after all the Madness!!
Joel bought me a watch!! It's to cover me new scar. It amazing how Joel can buy me something and my bad day goes from down in the dumbs to super happy! Thanks Joel, you always know how to make my day..

Saturday May 24th 2008
We woke up early (so we wake up at 6:30am we had to get on the road by 7am, we woke up a little late. Cuz where we were staying, it took a good 10-15 minutes to get to the spot we had to meet my dad.)to drive to my Uncle Duane's (my real uncle) house and he lives is Kawah Hae! It took about an hour or so to get there but it was a beautiful drive.. the road had lots of curves, but lots to look at. On our way to my uncles we had to help my dad friend Al and it was in Honakaa. We had to help cut the chicken for my sisters wedding. And can i say that was a lot of chicken... it took them a good 2 or more hours! They had my dad, Joel, Al and his friend. So 4 guys helping and it still took that long. After helping Uncle Al we headed to the beach!! (everyone in Hawaii calls everyone uncle or aunty... well it's kinda like the south. everyone calling the older people miss and mister. So Joel was called Uncle and i was called Aunty.. You don't have to be family, but when they say that you sure feel like you are.) This beach was so pretty! But Joel kept getting ugly looks from people at the beach... i think bcuz he was so white and in Hawaii you don't see people that white. Your couldn't get Brakken out of the water, and Madden couldn't be more opposite!! Madden only wanted to be held, he hated the sand!! But i guess Joel has to have a kid that hates the sand with him!

Thanks Aunty and Uncle your house was beautiful. Thanks for the love you shared with us! And it was nice to meet you friends too. And your grandson.. Brakken it still talking about Hezeden.. Thanks again

Sunday May 25th 2008
We made it to church. When my Uncle and Aunty made dinner the night before they invited some friends over and they are Mormons.. So they asked if everyone at the table would go to church in the morning!! And of course we said YES! It was nice cuz there church was at 9am so that meant we could go to sacrament and drive to the place where we were staying, get dressed, and pick up my Aunty Pat (my real aunty) at 1:30 to head down to the wedding. Some how everything worked out for the best! It always does.. (when you do what's right)
The wedding was beautiful! My sister looked amazing and Josh looked handsome! As well as everyone in the wedding! And everyone at the wedding! The food was so very ono!! Congrats Nohea on the Amazing day.. there are so many more to come! Your son is adorable! Take care, I LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU!! WE LOVE ALL OF YOU!!!

Happy Birthday Taylor!!! We love you!
Today was fun! We took some pictures of the place we stayed at.. Thanks again Michelle and Mike!! They live on a 2 acre lot! It's big and pretty. It has 3 houses and one swimming pool!
Then we went to the Zoo.. We got to see the tiger feeding on a raw chicken.. Cool and gross at the same time. You could hear the bones crunch! And Madden kept tell the birds to SHHHH (he was putting his finger in front of his mouth at the same time, while saying SHHHH! So cute). We had a blast! The Boys love animals.
After the Zoo we went to the Mauna Loa plant and got some macadamia nuts and ice cream. Joel and I got the Kona Coffee Ice Cream (yummy) and the Boys got Vanilla Macadamia Nut. So yummy
After our long day of touristing...haha that sounds funny cuz i lived there. We went to my Grandpa Uye's house for a big get together with all the family! Everyone brought all sorts of yummy food or they came over to make something! They all brought it over for US!! Thanks my Ohana for all the love and SUPPORT!! The food was ono! I forgot my camera for the family pictures but both of my Auntys took pictures and I'll post those later..

Tuesday May 27th 2008
Well today was a lazy day. We planned to go to Kona side but didn't want to wake up that early! We had to leave the Cottage at like 5am. to have alot of time to be in Kona (cuz it takes about 2 or more hours to get there). So instead we went to the BEACH, called Four miles! I used to swim there when i was little! It feels like you are swimming in ICE water!! It's so cold! Well it's that cold cuz it's Sea water with Spring water! And my Favorite thing about this place is the Turtles that swim with you! i think we saw like 3 or 4 turtles! It was so cool to see them this close!

But before Four Miles we went to a Water Fall and some Boiling Pots.. Real cool. Oh yeah people die in the boiling pot all the time, cuz they are underwater caves that look like boiling pots and people get lost underwater or just drown. Sad but it's life. Thanks Dad for showing us around!

I'll post our last day in Hawaii tomorrow!!
