ER visit Yesterday...

So yesterday when i was watching my shows.. I always get a drink and put it on the ground right next to the couch.. So i got off the couch.. And stepped on the glass that i was drinking out of.. I don't know how i broke the glass.. Maybe cuz i'm SOOO STRONG or FAT!! I'm leaning towards the strong... But this is what the cup looked like after i stepped on it.. (well After i set up the cup)

I had to walk to the phone to call LeeAnn to see if she could take me.. I'm not sure what i said to her but was freaking out!! And after i called her i told Madden to get me a towel.. And he got me the biggest towel and the whitest towel... What a big helper he is.. i got blood on the carpet and on my pants.. (i have to tell everyone that i can wear a size 6 now!!! Yay me..) I did call Joel after LeeAnn.. I feel bad now.. but i can't change who i called first...

after i calmed down a little more.. I thought i would go our neighbors right next to us to see if one of them could take me to the ER and then have LeeAnn watch the boys.. as I'm walking to our neighbors and to the car I'm bleeding like a lot.. I made sure i grabbed my wallet and check book.. After i looked at the insurance card.. I told EmberDee to go to the Insta Care.. An ER visit copay is $100!! And insta care visit is $40!! When we got the Insta Care it took them about 1hour and about 10 minutes before i got seen.. Then the DOC fixed me all up.. I got 4 stitches and HAD to get a tetanus SHOT!! The numbing shot hurt soooo sooo soo BAD.. i almost said a swear word.. Man that would have been really embarrassing.. I was wearing a long sleeve shirt so i had to take an arm out of my sleeve.. So the nurse now knows what religion i am.. hahaha.. Thanks EmberDee and LeeAnn for helping me in an emergency..

I have to say something else.. I can't wear sandals.. I have to wear socks.. so if i want to wear sandals i have to wear socks.. So please don't look at me crazy cuz i have one sandal on my left foot and a sock on with a sandal on the right foot.. I'm glad that i get my stitches out before my friends wedding.. I'm a brides maid and i have to wear flip flops.. oh man.. This was one crazy adventure.. Now i hobble around.. And i can't put any pressure on my foot..

So the lesson that I've learned is not to put a GLASS cup on the ground.. Cuz someone could step on it and GET sent to the ER or INSTA CARE!!

Lesson LEARNED!!

One Special Day...

My Best Friend from High School is getting Married May 14.. So like in 15 days!! Saturday she took out her endowments.. I'm so proud of her.. One reason is that when we were in high school we weren't the best kids.. I don't think anyone would have thought that we would go to the temple... I don't even think people thought we would get MARRIED... But LOOK at us.. We did it Nikkie Jay.. And we both have the MOST FAB hubbies.. Well i do.. You will... when the 14Th comes.. haha.. The main reason why I'm so proud is that.. She is doing the right thing... She is FINALLY TRULY HAPPY!!

It wasn't real nice outside but it was a FAB day to remember.. After the temple we went to Cafe Rio.. where i might add that i didn't fall on my FACE!! hahaha.. what a milestone I've accomplished.. lol..

Nicole.. Eric is perfect for you.. You caught an AWESOME guy.. What a lucky guy he is.. And i can't wait to see you in all WHITE!

This is what we did with Grandma Debbie on Friday.. We hung out with her all Friday and half of Saturday.. Friday we went to watch Jordan play SOCCER.. And it was really cold outside.. Not soccer weather.. I'm not sure what soccer weather is..??? And it rained a little.. So i think that's why the Trojan's lost.. Bummer..

Outside FUN!!

This weather is soooo nice! The boys and i have been having a blast playing in it!! I just love being outside.. It kinda sucks cuz i get some really not so nice TAN LINES... Not my fav thing in the world.. But knowing my blessing that come with wearing what i wear i wouldn't change it for anything.. Here are the boys playing with CA-CA (Madden's was of saying Carlos).. While i was taking this picture Carlos decided he wanted to JUMP... I can't stop giggling thinking about it.. And as you can tell there is not that much space from the top of his head and the counter.. after he smacked his head he thought about CRYING but Brakken and myself COULDN'T hold our LAUGHTER in... So then CA-CA started laughing.. I truly believe that Laughter is the best CURE for anything!!

The other day we were upstairs hanging out with LeeAnn and Carlos.. LeeAnn was sharing chips with us and Madden got some to share with his Brother (well i told him that he had too) and the funny thing that Madden did was.. He had one in each hand... Well he took a bite out of one and then gave it to Brakken.. May i mention it was the one with a BITE missing out of it.. I guess that's something i have to expect from the baby of the FAMILY... They do the funniest things!!

The boys have been so use to wearing their winter BOOTS.. So when we went outside to play today the boys put them on.. How funny is that??? PRETTY FUNNY!!Playing with their best friend CA-CA.. Carlos..
This is my Mr. Mom.. Madden is going to be the best DADDY ever.. He loves babies. He got 2 babies for Easter from Mema and now he takes them everywhere with him.. Here is him playing a game and holding his bundle of sunshine.. hahaha

This is what i found outside while i was watching the boys.... You got it.. I found a 4 Leaf Clover!! LUCKY me.. So i think I'm going to put it in something were i can take it with me to give me a little more luck.. I just love this WARM weather!! Don't you??

Spring had FINALLY SPRUNG!!!

Spring has SPRUNG!! Yeah and on a day that Joel gets to spend time outside without wearing work clothes!!, On the best day of the week SUNDAY!!! So after a nap, lunch/dinner (lunner) and church we went to Willow Park to see some animals and have a good ol time at the park!!

When Maddie would climb up the stairs to this slide he would take a few steps up... then a few down... he was getting scared but with a little of our help with some kind words.. he would go all the way up.. I can't believe that they are getting so BIG!!

LOOKIE what i FOUND!!!

Yes it's BACK!!! I found it in my pink travel case thing this morning.. It was in there JUST hanging out.. Madden might have put it in there??? But i really don't care how or what.. JUST as long as it's found!!! Thank heavens.. After i found my ring i called Joel and this is what he said.. "And what is the lesson that we learned today??? Don't TAKE your ring OFF EVER!!!" So yeah i think it's staying on.. Thanks to everyone that was concerned.. Thanks for caring..

Happy EARLY Mother's Day to ME!!!! and TERRIBLE NEWS!!!

So we celebrated Mother's Day early... Well for one reason and ONE reason only.. I'm the COOLEST mom ever.. jk.. That's not it.. Bcuz of BRITNEY SPEARS!!! She was in town for her Kick "A" Concert!!

I have a FAB hubby and he totally knows how to whoo me.. hahaha... Well before the Concert we wanted to get something to eat.. So we went to the Gateway Mall cuz it's right next to the old Delta Center (where she preformed).. Wrong time to eat.. It was like 6ish.. So we headed to Costa upstairs.. And to our luck it wasn't very busy, GOOD thing!! It was raining real hard outside so the floors were wet from every ones shoes!! and I have to admit that i walked in and SLIPPED!!! Right on my FACE!! Well my knees and hands!! I rolled my ankle.. And it still hurts today!! May i tell you that Joel's hand was NO WHERE to be found... And i tables were like not close to me.. So i fell BY MYSELF!!! I looked graceful when i walked in and then FELL like NOT graceful.. haha NOW i can laugh.. But i have to say every time that i looked at the spot i fell i would start chuckling!! I guess it's good that i can laugh at myself..

But anyways!! We headed to the concert.. but i left my CAMERA in the CAR!! Totally forgot it in the CAR!! What a dummy!! (Well i just thought that she didn't allow Camera's like Mr. West..) But i have to say it was AWESOME!! I just love her.. And i have to also say that Joel said it was BETTER than Janet Jackson!! And that means ALOT!! Well who cares.. Well I do!! haha

I love BIG cups!! Less refills.. Thanks Joel!!That night was AWESOME!!! But the MORNING not so much.. And i have some Terrible NEWS!!! Madden FLUSHED my RING down the toilet at Debbie's house!! Out of Joel's and my ring, Madden wanted mine to take a dip in the potty water and then a swirl down down down the pipes of POO!!! We had a plumber over the take a camera down the pipes in the house to see if it was there... BUT NO!! It's not.. And may i mention that it cost $175 just to tell us that it wasn't in the PIPES!!Then we had a guy come that is a pro at looking in the pipes under the ROAD!! This guy looked all the way to the sewer tanks.. He looked for like 2 or 3 hours.. And this guy was "going" to charge us like $800 or more dollars to look but told us it was on HIM!! So FREE!! What a nice guy.. This same thing happened to him about 2 weeks ago with his wife's 25Th anniversary NEW ring.. So i think i know that he knew what we were going through!! Thanks man.. I didn't catch his name! But what a blessing.. Losing a ring and having to NOT pay alot of money for them looking and NOT finding!! So i called my mom to fill her in on what happened and she told me that i could call the Sewer Treatment Plant.. So I'm going to call them when they open.. She also told me that i should take a picture of my ring to them.. I sure do have one SMART MOMMY!! They for sure have to find my ring there.. cuz my ring is clearly not Biodegradable.. Here is what my hand looks like without my BEAUTIFUL ring on my finger.. But this a the picture that I'm going to give to the guys at the sewer place so they look for it and it does have a owner that is missing it.. I hope they are honest and give it back to me..
I have to tell you something funny.. Joel was talking to his friend that is a plumber and he said something funny about my ring... He said that if we find my ring in the sewer that he will have to tell me that i have a SHITTY Ring .. How funny is that.. i thought soo..hahaha.. You have to make a funny out of a bad situation.. Is what a great man said.. I think it was Gordon B.. But cross your fingers for me PLEASE.. so i can find my ring..

Thanks Mom for letting me wear your old set.. So i won't feel naked without MINE.. Thanks mom.. I don't feel so empty.. Here is what my left hand looks like now..

I hope everyone had a great time this weekend!! It started early for us.. We had a baby blessing to go to at 9:30am. For the ZaeJo's.. Congrats guys for letting Joel be in the circle.. It really means a lot to him that you thought of him when you asked.. Thanks again.. And after we planned to go to our ward but really needed a nap.. haha.. So we headed to Gma's and Papa's house to look for eggs and FOOD.. aka Celebrate Easter..
