Night Out on the TOWN!!

Friday the 23rd.. WOW I'm finally caught up!! YEAH ME!!
I went to SLC to hang out with my BEST FRIEND from high school.. We ate at California Pizza Kitchen.. After that we walked to the movies to see the times and to take pictures!!

I had a great time catching up.. Nicole i can't believe it took us this long to hang out AGAIN!! Oh yeah congrats on GETTING MARRIED!! Your ring is beautiful! Good luck with the planning!! I'm here for you if you need anything!! and can't wait to see you in Feb..

DOCTOR VISITS, EYE VISITS, and DENTIST VISITS

Lots of visits to go too.. We finally got insurance for all of us the beginning of January.. So i made us all the appointments.. Doctor appointments were on the 8Th.. Elizabeth and Savannah came with us.. Thanks for coming with me and giving us a ride. Here are some pictures of there visit..

the 13Th was a very busy day, Joel and myself had eye doc appointments in the morning.. Finally i will get my glasses fixed and i'll get CONTACTS.. After our appointment we had enough time to get home take a nap and eat some lunch.. Then it was off to the dentist for the boys!! Forgot to take my camera.. I hate the dentist.. Even though our dentist is our old wards 1st counsel in the bishopric.. He's great but the smells and the sounds there make my stomach turn.. I wanted to get out of there ASAP!! But Brakken did an AMAZING job sitting the the seat and letting the lady clean his teeth.. Madden on the other hand want her to clean his teeth with his thumb in this mouth.. Which is very hard, but i better mention it's Maddie first time at the dentist. Bad news is that they both have SMALL cavities, but good news is that they are very small that they don't need any numbing stuff and should take only 10 minutes each.. So that was good, i guess..

The next day i took down the CHRISTmas stuff. YEAH ME!!

Friday the 16Th i had my yearly appointment.. i hate these appointments.. Joel always has to come with me to hold my hand!! Thanks Joel for coming and being a good sport.. Later that day we went to dinner with some of our friends to Texas Road House.. YUMM.. Worth the long wait!!

Tuesday the 20Th Brakken had his FIRST eye appointment!! He did great!! Thanks again Elizabeth for coming with me and driving us too.. You're an AWESOME friend.. Thanks A LOT

one thing that stood out to me that day was that Dave (our eye doctor) said that we better tell him when the boys go on a mission cuz he wants to help pay for them to go.. How awesome is that!! Thanks Bishop Smith!! We are Grateful to have a MAN like you in our lives!!

friday the 2nd and on..

Every Friday the boys and i go with Joel to Ogden.. My mother (mema) and i call them OUR Fridays.. We have a great time together, playing and hanging out..

After hanging out with my mom, we picked up Joel from work and went to some cool place in Ogden were they have a surfing place indoors, bowling, arcade games, skydiving indoors, movies and more.. It's real fun and even fun to watch.. We went to the arcade played some games the boys liked and then played Deal or No Deal!! We had a great time picking the different numbers.. And after all the coins were done we took out tickets and exchanged them from CANDY!! We had a great time..

This is what happened on the 9Th, my blanket for the couch was missing and so were the boys.. This is where they both were...
And on the 10Th we played consequence.. And i bet you can guess Joel LOST!! So he had to play in the toilet water!! Gross.. I'm glad i didn't loose.. Thanks Nate and Vikki for coming over and playing with us and having dinner with us too.. And for spiting dinner too..

New Years EVE and DAY

LeeAnne and Carlos asked us if we would like to come with them to the Utah State BBall game.. And here are the pictures of us at the GAME!!



Funny thing about us going to the game was we saw Chad and Chelsea (Joel's cousin and his wife) there.. They were only a few rows below us..
The game was fun!! They boys were DANCING. They would push up the seats so they had more room to DANCE! It was pretty FUNNY to watch and the people around us thought so too. I can't forget to tell you about Madden. He wanted to strip down to his blue "A" but we forgot to paint one on his chest.. haha. Brakken enjoyed whoosh.. Putting his hands in the air when they would shoot a free throw, and then when they made the shot everyone would say whoosh and drop their arms.. Now we have to say Whoosh every time Brakken makes a shot in his BBall hoop at home.. It's so CUTE!! We would take Brakken again, but not Madden. Brakken loved watching all the player run back and forth with the ball. And LOVED the mascot, and how the mascot dropped from the middle of the score board at the start of the game.. Brakken yelled AWESOME!! and Madden didn't enjoy it that much.. He wanted to just eat and play..

It was a WHITE CHRISTmas..

This is what we did on CHRISTmas day.. We woke up and we opened presents.. We have decided to only say ONE gift and the stockings are from Santa.. Everything else is from US!!!
Yes COOKIES are what we had for Breakfast!! And CANDY is what we had for lunch and dinner.. We might have squeezed in some healthy food, not much but enough for December 25Th.. After opening presents we headed to my Gma and Papa's house for Christmas day.. We had a great time.. My family got us FOOD storage! YEA!! They all thought it was funny and weird that i (Raelynn) wanted FOOD for CHRISTmas.. So they all were laughing when they gave us our presents.. Thanks Family for the the gifts.. You guys are Awesome.. Before leaving we played a little MAD GAB!! Funny, when you play with people that have had a little too much to drink, and when it's BOYS against GIRLS!! Pretty intense if you've played games with my family.. My cousin Mike wasn't playing but was at the other end (of a long) table would yell out the answer to the phrase that was being read ONLY for the boys (but i guess that's what he is).. And the score at the end was like... i don't remember cuz we DIDN'T win!! We were like 25 points behind..
After playing games we head to see Joel's grandma Pauline and his sister.. But when we stoped by Joel's gma's house she was sleeping (my i mention it was like 6pm). So we went to Jesika's house, hung out and talked and talked and talked..

The pictures are of the boys in their NEW TRUCK!! They are going to know how to drive before they can ride a bike.. Something is wrong with that sentence.. but FUNNY!!! And there is a picture of Madden with HIS MOST FAVORITE person PAPA!! Sorry to those that think you're Madden's favorite.. You are most likely Brakken's..
And the pictures at the end are of what we had to drive through to get HOME!! We left Jesika's house (in Ogden) at about 11pm and got to Logan at about 2:30am.. But took us about almost or more that 1 hour to get into our PARKING spot!! Joel was shoveling the snow for some time and then ROCKING the car back and forth.. Going from 1st then to Reverse then over and over again!! It was a LONG night or morning...
Hope everyone had a GREAT day.. And i never understood when people would say "KIDS make Christmas". But now that i have KIDS they TRULY make Christmas.

Brakken is a much better driver than Madden.. Madden drives really bad.. it's STOP GO then STOP and then GO!! They kept getting stuck in the snow.. But soon they will get the hang of driving..

oh yeah HIYA Panda was not left the boys DVD player since Christmas eve.. It plays over and over AGAIN!!

Debbie, Scott and Conner came in town on Friday the day after Christmas. So we planned to celebrate Christmas with them (Jesika, Seth, Nicole (Seth's sister), Jordan, Joel's Gma and Gpa Hansen) on the Saturday 27Th for dinner. We went to my Gma and Papa's house to hang out before we headed up to Debbie's house.. It was nice to have the holiday cut into a few days..

We didn't plan on staying the night but the WEATHER was not going to let us drive home in SAFETY!! So we all played xbox 360. i have to say i kick butt at HIYA Panda.. And Jordan, Conner and Joel STAYED up til like 4 or 5 in the morning, playing HALO 3!! Brothers... But Sunday was funner, we went to to Skybox to watch the games (JAX and MIA play). The Jags lost and Fins WON!! YEA!! Conner and myself played some games in the game room thing that they have to keep kids entertained while the parents watch Football.. We bowled and played air hockey.. Thanks for letting me play with you CONNER!! Your fun to be around.. Thanks for the fun weekend Debbie and Scott..

Better LATE than NEVER

This is December 20Th.. We had a Christmas party with some of Joel's friends from Thermo (his old job). We had a great time reminiscing.. Here is what happened after dinner... SANTA come!!

After the party was over we took a trip to Sara's house for an AFTER PARTY.. haha that's funny to say.. And we hung out with her and her cute little/big puppy Nickie (Nicolas). He was so cute and jumped right on Madden and cut his face.. So he has this scratch on his right check.. I called him SCAR FACE.. haha it was funnier at the time..

This is Christmas Eve.. I got the boys presents out before Joel got home from work.. Not a very good move on my part.. oops.. And Madden couldn't wait so he riped the bow off and started to ripe the paper off too.. Then i told the boys that they could open the presents when daddy got home.. And when Joel got home Madden started opening.. I had to stop him but couldn't get mad at him cuz he was doing what i said.. I got the camera and this is what we did.. and got.. Jammies what a SURPRISE!!! well and the boys got a movie with their jammies..
