Shoveling, Shopping, Lights, and Cleaning.....

Monday i decide to SHOVEL our sidewalk.. Our apartments don't shovel them enough... And since we are the most clumsy FAMILY!!!, we need all snow and ice removed so we won't fall.. Madden falls every time we leave the house and Brakken and myself always SLIP! So removing the snow and ice is something that i HAVE to do.. It's a most do, on my LIST of things to do...

The next day we went to work with Joel.. Well so i could do some Xmas SHOPPING.. I hadn't done any shopping for my fam (Brakken, Madden, Joel and myself). So i was off to Walmart, Smith's and PetSmart.. i got the boys a Toyota FJ Cruiser.. It's a super cute power wheel!! I need to loose some LBs so i can take a ride in it!! hahaha.. I got some stocking stuffers at Smith's... and the main reason for going to Smith's is for Smith Tix!! Joel says we can get the Britany Spears concert tickets for MOTHERS DAY!! Her concert is in APRIL!! So I'm way WAY WAY excited!! Oh yeah at PetSmart we bought a little Hermit CRAB!! his/her name is Herbie!! And right now he/she lives in a red shell that has a Reindeer painted on it.. and the shell he/she will move in next is a MIAMI Dolphins helmet painted on it! so that's a gift for Joel.. haha.. But for the Boys.. Joel got off work early so we could get soup and salad a Olive Garden, and then off the the LIGHTS at TEMPLE SQUARE!! I have to say this was the first time for us (Brakken Madden and myself ) seeing the lights.. And it was REAL cold but Clear and NO SNOW!!

After the lights we meet up with some of Joel's friends from work.. and we went to some YUMMY sushi place in the Gateway food court..

After eating... more shopping.. i had like 10 minutes before the stores closed but that's enough to look for a bag and matching wallet.. and i found one.. So cute.. And Joel wants shoes for Xmas so we got him some too.. Today i have felt like a shopaholic.. But we got everything for Xmas..

Wednesday was a VERY LAZY day.. i didn't do anything but hang out and make dinner and had the Pitcher's over to watch Survivor and eat some chili.. But yesterday i got back to work and carpet CLEANED our carpets!! I did the front room, dinning room, and hallway.. today I'll TRY and get the bedrooms.. But that means i have to clean the boys room FIRST!! Oh yeah and my mom's coming to hang out with us and drop off the power wheel.. So I'll post pictures of today tomorrow!!

Begining of DECEMBER to NOW

1st of December we put up our TREE!! Not lights or very many ornaments BUT lots of CANDY CANES!!! or what Brakken calls them Canny CORN... It's really funny..
The next day the boys broke the gate down and eat ALMOST all the candy canes!!

on the 3rd.. We had our Ward party.. It was pretty fun.. We eat and Santa came.. and then we did a White Elephant gift exchange to a story about Mrs. wRIGHT and Mr. LEFT.. So you sit in a BIG circle and pass the gift from left to right.. Really fun.. But i sat next to 5 kids and we would always end up with like 5 or so EXTRA gifts.. haha.. But when the story ended we all opened the gift we had.. Brakken opened his first and it was COOKIE cutters.. And he looked at his Cookie cutters and said OHHH MAN.. And throw them in the middle of the circle.. And walked away pouting.. Maddie opened his and it was a Xmas HOT PAD... And looked at his hot pad and gave it a hug and still to this day he walks around the house with it.. It's every cute Madden truly made his lemon into Lemonade.. and Brakken not so much..

This is a picture of what happened when we were walking into our house... We had a lot of stuff to carry in our house.. And we hear Brakken say he needed to go pee... and then this is what he did..

on the 4th Tayli and myself went and did Temple work.. After being at the temple Tayli and Jake had us over for some yummy soup.. Thanks Tayli and Jake.. We hung out after dinner and played with their bunny.. And when we drove home Brakken was helping Joel drive.. Brakken was pretty good at driving.. When we got home we finally took pictures of the boys by the tree.. Madden was not wanting to take any kinda picture...

The 6Th was my Really good Friends BABY shower.. Well it was a Welcome to the World party (she had her little girl 6 or 8 weeks early).. i forgot to take pictures again... but had a great time anyways.. oh yeah and after the shower Elizabeth and myself took our rice rocket to get it registered.. Lots of waiting time in Jiffy Lube.. Later that night i went with 2 of my friends to see TWILIGHT AGAIN!! I love that movie!!

7Th was Joel's gma Afton's birthday and her birthday party and it was in Riverton.. So we left on our journey out of Cache Valley at 1pm.. to hang out with FAM.. I forgot to take pictures of today.. But we had a great time!!

Last week Madden throw the biggest fit.. He cried and didn't breath, and walked from the kitchen gate to the middle of their room.. And he layed on the ground.. i have to mention that he's lips, feet, and hands are BLUE and his face is WHITE!! He had walked and cried withOUT BREATHING!!! i thought he was going to pass out and he finally took a breath and turned his normal color.. He has always thrown fits were he holds his breath but he has never took it that far.. But he is fine now..

This past Friday, we went to my mom's house.. She had my little niece over Amaya.. So we hung out with Amaya, Danni (my brothers girlfriend), Josh (my brother).. The plan was to make gingerbread houses but we did other things.. Things that i don't remember.. Well Amaya was getting potty trained.. So you can imagine what the day was like.. running back and forth to the bathroom... Here are the kiddos taking a nap together.. I love how Madden has his arm on Amaya's FACE!! Kids are so cute.

But when Joel came to pick us up after work.. Amaya wanted Joel to hold her and wanted to go with us to Debbie's house (we stayed Friday night and Saturday day at Joel's mom's house so we wouldn't have to drive in the snow).Here are some pictures of Amaya LOVING on Joel..

She cried when we left.. It was so cute but i felt bad.. It broke my heart to see how much she loves us..

Saturday i went to Lunch with a high school friend.. we had a yummy lunch at Apple Bee's.. Penny/Dano i had an AWESOME time catching up and eating with you.. Take care..

Wow sorry from the long post.. But i haven't been keeping up.. So i had to put the last few weeks in one long post..

Oh yeah "now it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" the snow finally CAME!! YEA!!

Wall-E Book

I have to post this... Madden found Brakken's Wall-E book.. Well with the movie you get this little book thing that has the information about the characters and what not.. Brakken loves to look at it and he lost it.. Welllll, he thought he lost it, cuz i put it up so he would quit showing it to me.. (he LOVES Wall-E).. But Madden found it and Brakken said "Thank you so MUCH Baby, I love you" and then GAVE Madden a GREAT big HUGE!! How cute, i thought..

BLACK FRIDAY...

MADNESS.. is the only word to describe the day after thanksgiving!! BUT i LOVe LOVE LOVE it.. I got some clothes for the boys and myself and some MOVIES!! I got HIYA OSO for 7 dollars!! How AWESOME is that!! Oh yeah HIYA OSO is Kung Fu Panda.. Brakken is learning Spanish and is now turning into a bilingual kid.. haha.. NOT so much.. But all the fam is telling him it's PANDA not OSO.. I don't think they know he is speaking spanish, i think they think he is making up words.. But oh well..
And we got WALL-E too (and a xmas movie).. And Wall-E is the movie we haven't got out of our DVD player.. It's been in our DVD player since FRIDAY!! I have the movie already memorized!! They want to watch it again but i have to have at least a hour of peace without it PLAYING! The Boys walk around the house saying WALL-E and EEE-Vah.. It's way cute..
I wish we could spend more MONEY on Black Friday but this year money it tighter than normal..
But on Saturday we took FAMILY pictures.. Debbie is giving them to Joel today at work so I'M WAY excited to see them.. We took them with all the FAM, Conner even came down from Florida to take them with us!! How awesome is that!! Oh yeah Conner is Scott's son (Joel's step dad's son) and he lives in Florida with mom.. I'll post the pictures when i get them from Joel today.. I have to admit we are one GOOD-LOOKING FAM!!

Thanksgiving...

Man, i have lots of things to be thankful for.. For starters my HUSBAND (Joel) and my BOYS (Brakken and Madden).. Two other people that i wouldn't be the person i am today cuz of there HELP.. My SAVIOR and My Heavenly FATHER!! Today was a blast.. Welllllll KINDA... The MORNING was AWESOME..(we had breakfast and bowled with the Hansen Fam!! Thanks Everyone for the Wonderful time I can't wait for next year!!)

Then the AFTERNOON was another story..(this 3 or so hours was with my family) I have never been more disrespected by my OWN FAMILY!! My mom's sister (she doesn't even deserve to be called me aunt) totally-flat out said what i BELIEVE is FALSE!!! How dare she say something like that!! I never tell her that what she believes is CRAZY.. And she had to comment on how Joel said the PRAYER!! My SWEET Grandma asked Joel if he could say it and my mom's sister had to comment on what he said and how we shouldn't even say a prayer at family get-togethers.. But to end on a HAPPY note.. We left my PAPA and Grandma's house and headed back to DRAPER for a fam dinner with the Hansen's again.. (wow lots of driving.. Breakfast we drive to Joanna's to eat and that's by Jordan High School, and the Real Stadium, then down to Morgan area for lunch, and up to Draper for dinner and now we are home..) We had a yummy dinner and i got to talking with Afton (Joel's gma) and she told me that being an EXAMPLE is one of the best ways to show people what's right.. and later that night his Uncle Neil told me the same thing.. Thanks you two for the great guidance.. I just feel i have to STAND up to anyone even my fam about the gospel and i know telling someone something doesn't always mean they are listening or even soaking it all in.. But i do learn things the hard way.. Thanks to my thick head..haha

After today i really didn't KNOW the meaning of what Thanksgiving DAY was for.. BUT now i do.. Thanksgiving should be a day to day thing.. NOT just once a year!! I have learned that just getting together and eating is NOT Thanksgiving.. Thanksgiving is a DAY to spend with the people you are THANKFUL for and to have in your life, and to look back on all the things that GOD has blessed us with.. Now i think I'll spend more time MAKING GOOD memories and not crappy ones.. One more thing I'm SOOOOO very Thankful for the GOSPEL, and the love it's brought to my life.. Thank you to those that helped bring it to me..

Park City Girls WEEKEND

From Thursday to Sunday every year the Hansen fam (Joel's mom side of FAM) plans a 18 and older Park City trip. This trip involves SHOPPING, eating, GAMES, and MORE SHOPPING.. But this year we didn't have to much money for me to spend for all that fun.. So i went up Friday (21st) in the afternoon to hang for a few hours. Then after finding a shirt for me and a church outfit for the boys and pj's for the boys too.. We went to Wal-Mart.. Then to dinner at Cafe Rio..

I absolutely LOVED this movie!! I thought Edward was crazy looking.. But in the middle of the movie i was CRAZY about him!! He is DREAMY!! I want to see TWILIGHT again and AGAIN!! So if you haven't seem it GET out and SEE it!!

I'm way behind on the posting.. We have been doing all kinds of fun things.. We started a pre-pre School class for the boys on the 4th of NOV. we go every Tuesdays and alternating every week from English to Spanish (teaching the same lesson for 2 weeks) .. I'm learning.. as well as the boys.. And on Wednesday we go to the Library for Story time.. Brakken loves it. Madden and myself walk around looking for movies and books to borrow while Brakken listens to stories.. Well i think he is listening, they haven't complained yet??

And Thursdays we are doing story time with some ladies from the WARD.. And Fridays we are going down to Ogden to get some of our FAMILY fix.. that sounds funny.. But i need to see my family every week.

Oh yeah one of my friends had their baby.. I don't know if i can say who they are but when and if i can, I'll post some pictures of their baby.

Wow i think one more post and I'm up to date.. How awesome is that..

Today was Madden's second birthday!! We went to pre-school this morning. After school we went to the church to MAKE turkey CUPCAKES.. The boys had a blast!! Funny Halloween Day Pictures

Cache Valley Mall Trick or Treat

Halloween DAY!!! Debbie came up, we all got dressed and headed to the Mall to get some YUMMY candy!!! Well the boys and myself got dressed in our Halloween Costumes.. Joel said he would dress up later for Trunker Treat.. i should mention that the boys only wanted to wear there pirate pants nothing else.. So we all told them that the people giving candy wouldn't give candy to kids not wear there costumes.. So they put there HAT and COAT!! They looked so cute.. And so Excited to get candy!
