July 24th Weekend Fun

Our weekend fun... We had a fun but crazy weekend. Well Brakken couldn't stop jumping off the DIVING BOARD!!! And Maddie was swimming with me in the deep end of the pool! Maddie would jump to me.. and when we were leaving he wanted to jump off the diving board... Next time Maddie!! I'm glad my boys are water babies!! I don't know what i would do if i was the ONLY one that likes the water!! It was fun watching Joel and Nate do some cool tricks off the diving board and walls of the pool.. They did gainers and cool dives.. What show offs. Then later that night (Saturday) Joel's asthma kicked in and guess what we (or i like to say HE) forgot his INHALER!! So we packed the boys in the car and started to drive up the canyon (may i mention that it's like 1am and i don't have contact in my eyes.. so i can't see the best) and i asked Joel if he could stand to not breath for another hour or more... (he could breath but not good) and he said NO!! So we called 911 and they sent an Ambulance to the Texaco.. They gave him an inhaler and checked to see if he needed to go to the hospital in Logan or if he had a food allergy or something... But GOOD NEWS he is breathing and i think now he will bring his inhaler everywhere!! I told him that i think his inhaler is his wobby (a wobby is like my boys blanket or some kids have there binky, it's there comfort).. and if it's around he's OK but if it's missing he can't BREATH!! Crazy but true!! I have a silly Husband.. But after that craziness we skipped church.. Rebels.. i know.. But it was nice to spend time as a Family with no interruptions!! We had a Blast at the Lake! Thanks Gma and Papa for letting us stay at the Cabin!! WE love you and we are thinking about come up tomorrow to see you and play at the Tree House..

July 24th 2008

Happy 24th Utah
We woke up early to head to story time at the Church... But no one was there.. So we just walked to Sam's to eat some lunch... Yum, pizza and hot dogs with water and chee-chee-poo's (Cheetos).. It's so cheap to eat lunch their and the boys have a blast.. After lunch we caught the bus to Willow Park and every time we ride the bus someone weird always has to talk to me.. I don't know why... is it cuz i look like a single mom with two boys riding the bus and there for have no one to talk to?? i don't know... Who knows... But i had a flower thing in my hair and this guy was toughing it saying you look like a Hawaiian... really weird.. I know... But as soon as we get another car i won't ride the bus again... well without Joely..

When we got to Willow park we had a little while before the parade came to town.. So we found this thing for the boys to jump in.. It was fun.. Jumped for awhile and then everyone started yelling "look the Parade"..

Park Group Hanbury

We love park group!! Playing with friends and chit-chating is a BLAST!! We are so excited for it to come around the corner (well next wednesday)... But everytime we leave to play on wednesday the boys always say "Bus Ride???" It's so cute, but this wednesday was just a short walk.. Thanks to all of you that come to park group, you make it so nice to talk to other parents... Talking "kid talk" gets old after awhile.. it's nice to talk "girl talk"..

Swimming Pool FUN!

Fimming Pool... is what Brakken says! This is the Boys playing in the pool on the side yard with Baby Ca-Ca (Ca-Ca is the boys best BUD)! At first Carlos was not into getting wet with the cold hose water! But as the sun warmed the water Carlos was having a blast!

Salt Lake, Murry, Clearfield, and Otown

So Wednesday afternoon my friend (since 6th grade) had her baby girl! She was 7 lbs and 20 inches long! So i wake up early with Joel on Thursday morning so i could see this new baby girl! I didn't want to just drive down to Murry for ONE reason! So we had lunch with my Mom in Salt Lake.. at this yummy Mexican place... After that i went to the hospital to see Tawni and her new baby! After the hospital we stopped to see another friends from 8th grade or is it 7th (who knows).. So we went to Clearfield to see Summer. She looks so happy in her new life. It was great to see my friends!! Take care Summer..Then after that Joel got off work a little early (at like 5:30)so we could go back to Logan for a surprise birthday party for JJ.. Happy Birthday JJ!!

Park Group

Park group is on every Wednesdays... So we went to Lundstrom Park this past Wednesday... Way fun!! This is our fun: riding the bus, walking to the park, and at the park! After park group Tina, Bridget and us (Brakken, Madden, and myself) went to the University for Aggie Ice Cream!! Yum Yum Yum!! Ice cream really hit the spot after our long morning and afternoon.. Thanks Tina for the ice cream invite!!

New Fuschia Pink Camera

Well the box says that it is red.. But if you look at it it's Fuschia Pink.. This camera is AMAZING!! It has a smile detector on it!! And the smile detector on it just takes the pictures for you!! How cool is that and it has 10.1 mega pixels and it's a super steady shot taker. My favorite thing about this camera is that you don't have to read the manual to understand it, it has a little description of what everything does on the screen on the back! So it's user friendly!! I just love taking pictures with it! It's so easy and fun to use!

Birthday BOY!

Brakken is officially 3 years old NOW!!

He party was on Saturday at the Pioneer park in Brigham City.. We had a blast!! The bad thing about his party was that my camera died! Well the batteries died! But everyone that took picture told me that i could get the pictures from them later this week.. So that's a plus..

So since i don't have the pictures I'll post about Brakken's Birthday Day!!

Brakken was born on a a Thursday, July 14, 2005 at 12:16 p.m.. He was 6lbs 2ozs and 21inches long!! And we took him home at 5lbs and 11ozs.. He was 2 weeks early but still term. I was in labor for two days.. 48 hours.. Long but so worth every moment!! He was so little.. Here are some pictures of him in my tummy, as a new born, and a few days old (some may be a month old)..

Brakken just a few minutes old! Not too happy to be out in the cold! Well it was in the mid 70's but compared to 98 that's pretty cold!

Every Birthday we make a cake and they get to blow out the candle when they were born! So Brakken gets to blow out the candle at 12:16 p.m. on July 14!! It's been a tradition since Brakken's first birthday.. Happy late Birthday Brakken!!
