Our TRAIN Day

This is what we did on the 8Th.. Joel had the day off and we went to The Union Station!! We eat lunch there and then went through the Museum... the Train and Car Museum! The boys had an AWESOME TIME! Brakken loves trains and Maddie just loves everything! Here is what we did..

This is what we did after the Museum.. We rode the FRONT RUNNER!!!

May i mention Brakken LOST his shoes.. On the last train we got on!! We rode from Ogden to Layton and back! And getting on at Layton coming back.. Brakken forget to tell us his shoe fell off as we are getting on the TRAIN!! The train is moving and at that same moment we figure out one foot is shoeless!! So, so long to the flip flop!! After getting off in Otown, Joel dropped me off at the mall to get the boys some shoes. Then we went to Aunt Jesse and Uncle Seth's house for burgers and corn on the cob!!
Then on Saturday we went to the Rodeo.. Fun!! We had a blast. Nice weather and totally forgot about the Church party... that we had to help with!! Sorry

Wow lots to post on!! This is mainly for the Grandma's and Great Grand Parents!!

Looks like a fun day! I want to try Front runner also. How much does it cost to ride? I know you can get passes for a year but we just want to try it once.

How fun! I love union station. You have such a cute little family Rae. Thanks for Jake's b-day wishes. I didn't know Joel's birthday was so close to Jakes. Happy birthday Joel!

WHAT FUN!! Carlitos would LOVE to go on the train! This morning we heard the train and at first Carlitos was scared, but when I told him that it's the sound that trains make, he immediately got excited and wanted to know where the train was :) How much does it cost to ride the Front Runner?

By the way, you can get the nursery manual at the distribution center. I think they may run out pretty frequently because so many people are wanting to buy it!

Looks like tons of fun. My sister said the front runner is pretty cool - we haven't ridden it though.
I guess rumor is that it might make it as far as Brigham in the next few years, that could be pretty cool.
